The Batcheller Mansion is considered the "Crowning glory" of Saratoga cottages with a notable history. Construction was completed in time to host a reception and ball in honor of President Grant in July of 1874. This slim volume illustrates in many pictures the life and times, past and present, of which this mansion is almost an active participant.
